Recently I have incorporated two products in my skincare routine. These two popular products are being raved countlessly on Instagram. These are mcaffeine Naked Detox Green Tea Face Serum and Biotique Bio Cucumber Pore Tightening Toner. My today's post is about one of them, the Green Tea Face Serum.

Let's dig into the review.

Do you know this antioxidant-packed superhero is becoming a popular ingredient in many top-rated beauty products? It's a fantastic natural astringent that works efficiently to improve your skin texture. This powerful ingredient not only does detoxify or nourish your skin but can treat many skin woes like acne, premature ageing, or damages done by harmful effects of UV rays and other environmental hazards.

And this is the cause why I purchased this serum. I've been using them for more than a month now. And, I think it's the right time to talk about them. Well, meet your daily skincare need, the Green Tea Serum.

What is it according to brand?

"Antioxidants rich Green Tea in the face serum will make your skin refreshed in the morning as well as in the evening after a long day. This serum moisturizes the skin deeply and its lightweight texture is perfect for anytime. Elevate your senses with its calming aroma as you apply on your face."

So, basically this fantastic fluid is supposed to provide a rejuvenated, supple and awake complexion.

Suitable for all skin types and is free from SLS, SLES, Silicones, Paraben. It's a dermatologically tested, pH balanced formula that helps the skin to achieve a healthy glow.

Ingredients:

Green Tea, Caffeine, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid.

How to use:

On a clean face apply a few drops of the Serum and gently massage it into the skin using your fingertips. Follow with the application of a light moisturizer for locking in the hydration. For best results use twice daily.

MRP: 625 for 40 mL. Available here

Packaging:

The light green fluid is housed in a glass bottle with a dropper dispenser. The bottle is packed in a cardboard box on which you can get all the necessary information about the product including the full list of ingredients. Here's my one significant complaint against the packaging. The dropper dispenser is actually useful for face oils or for the watery textured formula. As, its texture is a bit thick, the dispensing of the product is very difficult. If it had come with a pump dispenser, it would have been much easier to pour on the palm. Otherwise, the packaging is spillage proof, compact, and portable. This lightweight bottle is quite handy and easy to carry.

My Experience on Naked Detox Green Tea Face Serum:

It's a smooth, gentle formula with skin-safe natural ingredients. It's lightweight enough to blend in without giving any heavy or greasy feeling. I need just 2 drops to find the nourished and glowing face. When applied, it gets absorbed instantly. The light formulation is perfect for layering, since it blends with the rest of your skincare products effortlessly.

It has an added fragrance that is quite strong, though my sensitive nose has accepted this. I've been using this twice daily. And I have finished almost whole bottle already.

Of late, my skin has undergone a lot of changes. The mandatory staying at home makes my skin shine like anything. Lack of exposure to sun rays outside, less outdoor pollutants, tons of water intake, lots of sleep have unwrapped my natural beauty. I'm going through a proper system and noticing a heck of differences. There are no acne breakouts, no tan, blemishes etc. etc.

Yet, my face has become very oily, especially on the t-zone. No, I can't notice any dry patches on the cheeks and the area around lips. You might say that could be a case of dehydration. But, that's not the fact.

Whatever be the case, this serum has helped me a lot to keep my face clean, bright, and well-balanced. I must say how cooling this gel feels post application. It's more a gel-like formula than the usual water-based serums. It's easy to apply and the bonus is the instant glow.

All in all this green tea serum is a good hydrating formula. Though you may not notice any significant improvement in your skin tone. If you have any issues like rashes or redness, this product will help you a lot by soothing and calming down the skin.

Overall I am quite happy happy with the green tea serum. It calms the pimples, though doesn't heal. So, if you don't have any such severe skin issues and you only need a hydrating formula, pick this up! You are gonna love it!

XOXO,

Drashti
